So about a week or so ago, Jonathan asked me if he could go to a “Swing Dance thing” with his friends. After a very confused pause I said … “suuuure … are you going to dance?”. He grumbled something unintelligible, which I assume had something to do with pigs flying and the freezing over of hades. In any case, I told him that I would give 10,000 Mongolian Tugrigs (that’s about 10 bucks working in my favor) if he would dance, get pictures and allow me to post them on our website for all the world to see.

Well, Jonathan will do nearly anything for money. Or food. If there is enough of either at stake. So here are the pictures of Jonathan doing some dancing. With girls. The look on his face is worth the 10,000 … priceless, really.

How fun! :-)

I have a young capitalist of my own and was intrigued to note his tireless chore performance all weekend long after I handed him a simple list of “jobs available” – with pay rates. He was so successful that I am now hosting union workers negotiations and explaining that his fiscal destiny is linked to the mother ship’s survival, so it may be in his best interests to not drive the market too artificially high.
